To illustrate the search engine ranking concepts explained in our "Search Engine" section, we've selected one of our client's actual search engine rankings, with full permission. 

Castle Cleaning & Oriental Rug Sales is North Colorado's oldest and largest Oriental rug sales and cleaning establishments.  Because they sell, clean and restore oriental rugs, it's imperative that they rank well in all 3 categories - oriental sales, cleaning and restoration.

The proper way to be ranked is to use as many specific terms as possible while targeting your market.  The  goal is to attract income-producing traffic and not "window shoppers".  We know how to get the balance required to attract the serious visitors.

All examples below are pulled from actual search pages from Google's non-sponsored engine, one of the more popular search engines.  These are actual search engine rankings...check them out yourself!

You will note that narrowing the search terms brings more potential clients to your website.  Ranking this high under vague terms such as "rug cleaning" shown above and brought hundreds of visitors who were looking for an area rug cleaner or tips on how to remove dog urine stains from their carpets.  This is a true story and a perfect example of over-ranking a website.
